“Richard L. Denslow age 72 of Mansfield, passed away Friday November 21, 2014 at Hospice House.Born in Cleveland on November 21,1942 he was a resident of Richland County most of his life. He had been employed as a maintenance man at various Ashland and Richland companies. Mr. Denslow proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

On December 23, 1988 Richard was married to Sandy Randles. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Kimberly Lancaster of Tampa Florida, Richard A. (Shelly) Denslow of New London and Christine Denslow-Kinney of Berwick Pennsylvania. Also surviving are four step sons, David (Deb) Dull, Brian (Brenda)Dull, Mike Dull (Christy Cotton) and Eric (Kelly) Dull all of Ashland. Eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two brothers, Jim (Joann) Denslow of Perrysville and Dan (Kathy) Denslow of Ogden Utah also survive. Mr. Denslow is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and one brother in law, John Shire. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Rose Peters in 1986; sister, Caroline Shire; and a grandson, Brandon Burdette.

Mr. Denslow was a past member of the Eagles Club and VFW and was currently a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes and fishing.”
