“THOMAS H. BERGSTROM, 74 of Menominee, MI passed away on Saturday December 23, 2017 at Bay Area Medical Center. Tom was born on April 23, 1943 in Menominee to the late Harold and Irene (Hendricksen) Bergstrom. He was a 1962 graduate of Menominee High School. Tom worked at Karguard Industries for a short time and then entered the United States Navy where he proudly served his Country. While in the Navy he met his wife, the former Diane Hayes and they were married on December 30, 1967 in Portland, Maine. Tom would go on and attend NWTC where he would attain his Journeyman electrician license eventually getting his Master electrician license. Tom owned and operated Bergstrom Electric Company from 1979 until his retirement in 2007. He loved to golf and play cards. Tom further loved the outdoors, going to his cabin, hunting, fishing and traveling. Above all else the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, is what Tom enjoyed most.

Survivors include his wife: Diane of Menominee; 2 sons: Eric (Nicole) Bergstrom of Menominee and Mark (Jessica) Bergstrom of Green Bay; 2 grandchildren: Aliyah and Thomas Bergstrom; 3 brothers: Jerry (Barb) Bergstrom of Menominee, Doug (Pat) of Menominee and Steven of Marinette; many nieces, nephew and cousins; and several relatives in Maine.

Family will receive friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home on Friday December 29, 2017 after 10:00 am until time of Military Rites at 12:00 noon followed by a memorial service with Reverend Doug Schoen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.”
